The devil is a parasite

Posted on October 5, Updated on October 3, Friday Quote from Mere Christianity by C. Lewis :. If Dualism is true, then the bad Power must be a being who likes badness for its own sake.

But in reality we have no experience of anyone liking badness just because it is bad. The nearest we can get to it is in cruelty. But in real life people are cruel for one of two reasons—either because they are sadists, that is, because they have a sexual perversion which makes cruelty a cause of sensual pleasure to them, or else for the sake of something they are going to get out of it—money, or power, or safety.

But pleasure, money, power, and safety are all, as far as they go, good things. The badness consists in pursuing them by the wrong method, or in the wrong way, or too much. I do not mean, of course, that people who do this are not desperately wicked. I do mean that wickedness, when you examine it, turns out to be the pursuit of some good in the wrong way.

You can be good for the mere sake of goodness: you cannot be bad for the mere sake of badness. You can do a kind of action when you are not feeling kind and when it gives you no pleasure, simply because kindness is right; but no one ever did a cruel action simply because cruelty is wrong—only because cruelty was pleasant or useful to him.

In other words badness cannot succeed even in being bad in the same way in which goodness is good. Goodness is, so to speak, itself: badness is only spoiled goodness. And there must be something good first before it can be spoiled. We called sadism a sexual perversion; but you must first have the idea of a normal sexuality before you can talk of its being perverted; and you can see which is the perversion, because you can explain the perverted from the normal, and cannot explain the normal from the perverted….

And do you now begin to see why Christianity has always said that the devil is a fallen angel? That is not a mere story for the children.

Scientists have only known about the extremophile nematode since because it lives in such far underground and lifeless-seeming places.

Its genome shows many adaptations designed to cope with the high heat where it lives. The real mephisto nematode wings itself with fire, too: Scientists found that it has duplicated a gene that repairs fire damage until it has 70 copies of the gene.

It has multiple copies of a second protective gene, leading scientists to speculate that the microscopic animal has cloaked itself in armor to survive conditions in its environs.

The devil worm is the first genetically mapped subterranean creature, which gives researchers hope that studying other organisms will yield similarly unusual and inspiring results.

Much of cutting-edge science studies living things and uses their mechanisms and adaptations to help design better, stronger, more environmentally friendly, and otherwise advantageous new materials and machines. The truth is stranger than fiction, and the devil worm is definitely stranger than its diabolical namesake. Understanding how microanimals like the devil worm live in extreme climates could lead to discoveries in how to protect above-ground wildlife from climate change or how to better insulate machinery to prevent heat waste.

Not only is the devil worm the first subterranean organism to have its genome mapped—it was the first creature of its kind to be found at all. For millennia, natural philosophers the antique name for scientists believed nothing could live below a certain point in the ocean because it was so cold and under such crushing pressure. How could life exist where there was never any possibility of sunlight at all?

They were wrong again. Under the solid ground is a similarly inhospitable climate for life, and organisms that thrive in the deep sea have a lot in common with the devil worm.

One major factor that many extremophiles share is their ability to tolerate or even feed off of methane instead of oxygen or carbon dioxide, like methanotrophswhich are bacteria that eat methane and release oxygen as a byproduct. It is a tonal juggling act that first feels like a satire—a comedy of manners that bounces a group of lovable con artists off a very wealthy family of awkward eccentrics.

And do you now begin to see why Christianity has always said that the devil is a fallen angel? That is not a mere story for the children. It is a real recognition of the fact that evil is a parasite, not an original thing p.

At least I would assume not, but I have never had a conversation with a flea or tick. A parasite requires an independent life source in order to survive.

Two parasites would quickly starve to death if they tried to live off one another. A consumer requires a giver in order to survive. Two relational consumers could not co-exist.

Honestly, they would drive each other mad either with the connotation of anger or crazy or both. This points out a rarely taught call upon the Christian — not to let evil live off our goodness in Christ.

When we fail to heed this call we become depleted and begin to look for someone else to live off. This probably accounts for the popularity of the need-based, love-tank marriage books. Parasitic love has become so common in our culture that even our Christian marriage books now accommodate it instead of confronting it. Satan led many angels now demons into his revolt to try to replace God. And, therefore, we should expect to be drained.

This reinforces the call to not be unequally yoked. Anyone who is not a Christian is ruled by the Master Parasite. For that matter, even many Christians are more ruled by the Master Parasite than the Master Giver hence the most popular Christian books on marriage and should not be dated until they evidence the character to support a healthy relationship. It requires great confidence in God and the Gospel to live this way. It requires a willingness to prefer and ability to discern loneliness to counterfeit companionship.

But like in any transaction, need makes fools of us all. The question is not based in a comparison of what we each do. You must be logged in to post a comment.

Having an understanding of this principle could very well have saved my life. The importance of this principle cannot be overstated. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. You must understand that we are in the second heaven and earth and the adversary, the devil, now controls this world.

Until Jesus Christ returns the second time, we must live in this world. You also need to understand that the power of God in Christ in you is greater than the power that is in the world. You must believe this and act on it. With these foundational Scriptures known and applied, we can begin. When the devil then called Lucifer rebelled in heaven, one third of the angels went with him. This makes up the devil spirit kingdom which exists today. So many people deny that this is true and that is just what the devil wants.

If he can conceal himself, no one will oppose and resist him. This is how Satan gets an advantage over us. Now that we know that there are devil spirits and many of them, we must learn how they function.

Understand that if a person knows that they are actually being afflicted by something so gross, they surely will resist. BUT they do not know this. Satan can only exist as a result of what the true God created and the true God is truth.

God is His Word. We are only known through our words. How else can anyone truly know us? It is the same with God and God says His Word is truth.

Everything else is facts. That way we have a difficult time discerning what is right and what is wrong. They are also able to separate truth from error along with many other benefits. Moving along slowly, I am showing you how the enemy functions. The devil worm was discovered back in For example, they are the end consumers of we human consumers.

After we die, the only thing left of us after we are eaten, are the worms who had also fed on us when we were alive. These devil worms named after demons, may have also appeared thousands of years ago in ancient literature such as in both bibles of the Old and New Testaments. Many parables relate man to a worm, and even suggest angels come from worms. Did the Saints and Fathers of the Church know about these devil worms?

Was St. John implying that worms are the products of man, or the offspring, the son of man a worm? Our immortal minds contained in the body of a worm, that may be akin to the devil worm who resides inside the fires of the earth to only rise again like a phoenix?

The Devil Worm Is So Metal

These devilish questions are now appearing to not seem so out of this world, or should I say, inside of this world? Here is a Princeton University press release about the devil worm. This new species of nematode was found living at depths of 0. Prior to their discovery, scientists believed only single-cell microbes, not multicellular organisms could live that far down.

National Geographic had written a news story on the devil worm. Isotope dating of the water housing the worm placed it to between 3, and 12, years ago—indicating the animals had evolved to survive the crushing pressure and high heat of the depths.

Evil As A Parasite

Onstott hopes the new devil worm will inspire others to search for complex life in the most extreme places—both on Earth and elsewhere. This discovery says, Hold up there! I have written some very controversial articles about worms many times here on the Gnostic Warrior. These previous articles had focused on the worms that we humans have both on and inside our flesh.

My research into this worm matter has proven to me that these worms may do more than just live on our flesh and blood. They may in fact be one of the root causes for many of the diseases that plague humankind, and that they may actually have a type of human or demonic mind of their own.

Hence, the devil worm may in fact be a link between the death of man, in which he rots into the ground, and reborn life. His reborn nature may be inside the worm who carries this life blood in the form of energy to its next human destination. This cycle is then rinsed and repeated by the same immortal worm patterns, to only return into the depths of the earth where scientists are now rediscovering the devilish worm truths that may have been known to the ancients for thousands of years.
